Passover, or Pesach in Hebrew, is one of our most sacred and widely observed holidays. It commemorates the story of the Israelites’ departure from ancient Egypt, which appears in the Bible’s books of Exodus, Numbers and Deuteronomy, among other texts. Jews observe the weeklong festival with a number of important rituals, including a traditional Passover meal known as a “seder”, the removal of leavened products from their home, the substitution of “matzo” for bread and the retelling of the exodus verses.
Our team at the Ministry’s Social Outreach Center of “City Of Life” was very active distributing food aid to those most in need in our region, bringing them comfort and hope in the face of the difficult situation we are currently facing here on the border with Gaza and the Islamic terrorism of the organization Hamas, who constantly seek a way to carry out different types of attacks against Israel, weakening the economy and growth of the region and leading many families to depend on the social aid of the indebted city council that cannot cope with providing it, for this reason our Community service is essential and of utmost importance.
Dozens of families who suffer the consequences of this hostile environment and struggle economically and mentally to move on with their lives were able to count on our help by receiving a basket of basic foods and the essential Passover “Matzot” bread, and they were relieved to know that more than ever our team will continue to bring comfort and support in these difficult times we are experiencing in Israel.

In addition to the hundreds of people who came to our center to receive help, many more found it difficult to travel to our center due to their mobility difficulties, among other reasons.
However, our team is in full communication with the most needy and vulnerable and is constantly aware of their situation, so we organized a home delivery of food baskets to meet the need of these people in our city Sderot as well as neighboring city of Netivot, in addition to a cordial visit full of love and words of encouragement that pleaded their hearts to know that they are important.
During the distribution of food in each home, each family was touched and we were able to reflect the love of the Messiah and experience how He guided us to bless these hopeless, bringing them the peace that comes from above and seeing how their grateful faces would smile again.
“But whoso hath this world’s goods and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up the compassion of his heart from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?“
1 John 3:17

Our role as the body of the Messiah is to bring hope to this lost world and illuminate in times of darkness creating an impact on society, so our ministry is committed to reaching as many people as possible who suffer during these festivities, who many of them depend on our commitment and dedication for the work of the Lord.
You too can bless them and be part of this commitment of obedience to the Lord with us by joining in our goal as there are still many families to reach with the help and together we can achieve it.
You can be part of and impact the lives of more people who need help in our city and together show them the way, the truth and the life.
We invite you to be part of our ministry so that together we can bring hope to our border town of Sderot.
Our work would not be possible without the help of partners like you, that is why we ask you to consider in prayer the possibility of a monthly commitment that will allow us to continue with the Lord’s work here in Israel.

Sincerely yours
Pastors
