As we had already anticipated, our messianic congregation and social help center “City Of Life” has begun the large distribution of food baskets for the most needy of our region on the occasion of the beginning of the high autumn biblical festivities that began with the recent celebration of Rosh Hashana, the “day of the sounding of trumpets” and which will continue through Yiom Kippur and Sukkot.
These dates are the most important of the year for the Jewish people who devoutly celebrate the “festivities of the Lord” as established in the Bible, despite the great difficulties we face in this border area with the neighboring Gaza Strip where the terrorist threat is still in force by the terrorist organization Hamas and its militants who in recent days gathered at the border facing the Israeli security forces killing a young Israeli soldier.
Dozens of families who suffer the consequences of this hostile environment and struggle economically and mentally to move on with their lives were able to count on our help by receiving a basket of basic foods and were relieved to know that more than ever our team will continue to bring comfort. and support in these difficult times we are experiencing in Israel.
Our role as the body of the Messiah is to bring hope to this lost world and illuminate in times of darkness creating an impact on society, so our ministry is committed to reaching as many people as possible who suffer during these festivities, who many of them depend on our commitment and dedication for the work of the Lord.
You too can bless them and be part of this commitment of obedience to the Lord with us by joining in our goal of the high feasts of Autumn, as we approach to Yom Kippur there are still many families to reach with the help and together we can achieve it.
