As our loved ones age, maintaining independence becomes increasingly challenging. Tasks once taken for granted now require assistance, leading to a loss of autonomy. Recognizing this struggle, our ministry, “City Of Life,” embarked on a mission to alleviate the burden faced by elderly residents in Netivot.
Walkers, often overlooked aids, play a pivotal role in restoring independence and confidence among the elderly population. Fear of falling, muscle weakness, and mobility issues are common concerns addressed by these invaluable tools. With walkers, seniors can navigate their surroundings safely, enhancing their quality of life and emotional well-being.
We have been recentrly focused on distributing walkers to elderly individuals in Netivot, many of whom faced economic hardship and lacked access to this essential equipment. Witnessing their joy and gratitude upon receiving the walkers was profoundly moving. It reaffirmed the impact of our ministry’s commitment to serving those in need and spreading love and hope within our community.

Distributing Mobility: Empowering Elderly Individuals in Israel
For many elderly individuals in Israel, the fear of falling poses a significant obstacle to their independence. As they age, tasks that were once effortless become challenging, prompting a need for assistance in their day-to-day lives.
A walker serves as a crucial tool for elderly individuals with limited mobility, often delaying or obviating the need for a wheelchair.
Recognizing the financial constraints faced by many elderly individuals, our ministry, “City Of Life,” undertook a significant initiative to distribute walkers to those in need in Sderot. This endeavor brought joy and a renewed sense of independence to the recipients, marking a meaningful step forward in their lives.
As these individuals began using their walkers, they expressed gratitude for the support and love they received. This sense of care and compassion is at the heart of our ministry’s mission, as we strive to fulfill God’s will by offering hope and assistance to those in need.

We remain committed to reaching out to the vulnerable in our community, and your support is invaluable in helping us achieve this goal. Together, we can continue making a positive impact in the lives of our elderly neighbors, guiding them toward greater independence and well-being.
Join us in making a difference during these challenging times. Your support can bring relief and hope to families enduring the impact of the conflict. By standing with City of Life, you become a vital part of our calling to alleviate suffering and inspire resilience in the hearts of those facing adversity. Together, let’s extend a helping hand and be a source of comfort for families in need.
You can be part of and impact the lives of more people who need help in our city and together show them the way, the truth and the life.
We invite you to be part of our ministry so that together we can bring hope to our border town of Sderot.
Our work would not be possible without the help of partners like you, so we ask you to consider in prayer the possibility of a monthly commitment that will allow us to continue with the Lord’s work here in Israel.

Sincerely yours
Pastors
