Our special “City of Life” team is available to provide psychological and emotional help to the most affected people in the city who face the challenge of living on the border with the extremist Islamic terror that considers the extermination of Israeli citizens as one of its priorities, added to the stress caused by the COVID’19 pandemic.
Our goal is to help them face the difficult life they lead by bringing them hope to move on.
A Different point of view
Batya, one of the patients who receives our emotional and psychological support, is a single mother of 2 young children, Nathan and Roi, who have to face the adversities of growing up without a father and suffer the consequences of this.
Batya does everything possible to get by with her children but finds herself enduring a very difficult life as she has to take care of the education, upbringing and maintenance of her young children by herself.
This added to the harsh reality that we are going through in our city Sderot, between terrorism and the new pandemic, has led Batya to an emotional crisis.
However, after accepting our help and after some sessions, Batya begins to recover and feel relief from her pain. After the last meeting she testified that :
“During the psychological counseling you helped me a lot and you managed that I can change my mind towards a different way of thinking … that I can see things from a different point of view that I did not think was possible before. I was so happy to regularly attend these meetings, I saw that my reactions to the terrible challenges and difficulties that I have experienced for a long time changed, as well as understanding children better in these difficult and unclear times, from the bottom of my heart thank you!”
You can help us reach more desperate people by bringing them hope and comfort.

We invite you to be part of our ministry so that together we can bring hope to our border town of Sderot.
Our work would not be possible without the help of partners like you, that is why we ask you to consider in prayer the possibility of a monthly commitment that will allow us to continue with the Lord’s work here in Israel.

Sincerely yours
