Although Israel is considered a moderately warm country during most of the year, the truth is that winters can become surprisingly cold, especially in high altitude areas, and those desert areas where temperatures drop drastically at sunset making it impossible to stay warm during the night.
This is the case of Sderot and the entire area adjacent to the Negev desert, where a large part of the low-income population living in old apartments and poorly insulated houses have to endure the long winter nights without being able to keep them warm and facing constant flu, asthma and even pneumonia.
For this reason, in our ministry and social outreach “City Of Life” we understand how important our project is to distribute heaters radiators that bring relief to so many families, allowing them to get through the coldest days of the year while maintaining the warmth of the home.

One of the most needy communities is that of the new Jewish immigrants from Ethiopia, who arrive in Israel, the country of their ancestors, bringing absolutely nothing after having gone through wars, conflicts and persecution, for which they depend exclusively on the little help that the government can provide them.
The adaptation for them is very difficult and the chances of getting jobs and getting ahead are scarce, especially in Sderot and the area near the Gaza Strip where the attacks with Rockets and constant terrorism have brought devastating consequences to the economy.
Targeting these poor Ethiopian Jewish immigrants, our team set out to organize a special distribution of radiator heaters to bring hope to these families.

The distribution was carried out in the homes of more than 50 families where we were also able to bring them words of encouragement and letting them know how much we care and how important is for us to know that they feel comfortable in the nation of Israel.
With tears of emotion they received the heaters and thanked us for having taken them into account, expressing their happiness for feeling part of the Jewish land, Israel.

At City Of Life we keep in touch with recently arrived immigrants, especially those from Ethiopia, giving them all our support and love trying to facilitate their adaptation to their new life and you can be part of our support.
Many Jewish Ethiopian immigrants depend on our help and you have the possibility to reach them together with us changing their lives forever.
We invite you to be part of our ministry so that together we can bring hope to our border town of Sderot.
Our work would not be possible without the help of partners like you, that is why we ask you to consider in prayer the possibility of a monthly commitment that will allow us to continue with the Lord’s work here in Israel.

Sincerely yours
Pastors
