In our ministry and social outreach we have a passion for helping families in need, bringing them hope and comfort in the midst of the difficult situation they have to live through.
We have been providing individual assistance to Lilian and her 2 teenage children, who like many children and young people in Sderot, suffer from the trauma of growing up in a hostile environment charged with Islamic terrorism, rockets and sirens.
Unfortunately, dealing with her children’s problems has been very hard for Lilian, who is a single mother and has developed medical and psychological problems as a result of stress and pressure that have led her to experience depression and anxiety attacks.
However, our “City Of Life” team was there for her, supporting her economically as well as with psychological help and counseling, allowing her to get out of the desolation she was in and see her situation in a new way.
Lilian now feels much better and does not hesitate to express her gratitude for all the assistance she receives in all aspects, both in terms of food such as food baskets and purchase vouchers in supermarkets, as well as in terms of counseling and psychological guidance, etc.
–“I am very happy and grateful for the opportunity to receive help, a single mother like me with all kinds of medical problems and other difficulties and I want to thank with all my heart for the psychological support that I receive regularly that encourages me a lot to move forward and has helped me understand how to pray to God to give me strength, the meetings have also given me help and encouragement to face difficulties, problems related to self-confidence, to understand my children more and, despite everything this, to understand that I can move forward with a smile and think positively.”

Our “City Of Life” Social Outreach team works hard to ensure that broken families like this one can move on, get out of the bad situation they find themselves in and feel that there is hope again.
Like these families, there are many others who urgently need our help, so it is very important more than ever that you continue to pray for this project.
You can be part of and impact the lives of more people who need help in our city and together show them the way, the truth and the life.
We invite you to be part of our ministry so that together we can bring hope to our border town of Sderot.
Our work would not be possible without the help of partners like you, that is why we ask you to consider in prayer the possibility of a monthly commitment that will allow us to continue with the Lord’s work here in Israel.

Sincerely yours
Pastors
