With the new and more contagious strain of the Omicron virus spreading rapidly among the population of Israel, many families are economically affected by the current situation in which many people are forced to comply with a mandatory quarantine for having been in contact with someone infected thereby losing countless days of work. For the same reason, the authorities struggle to provide help to the population since the municipal staff is collapsed, leaving a large part of the needy in our region to their fate.
In this time of uncertainty, the economic situation worsens even more, as well as the mental health of the most vulnerable who still suffer the consequences of facing a life on the border with Gaza and Islamic terrorism that does not stop.
Our team was in charge of distributing supermarket shopping vouchers to the most disadvantaged, thus relieving their economic burdens and bringing hope to their hearts knowing that they can count on us as we go through this difficult winter of crisis in Israel.
Our center was filled with families who happily attended to receive the vouchers of hope and the same joy was shared by those whom our team visited in their homes to bring them the vouchers since it was difficult for them to reach our center, our help reaches their homes.
We also had the opportunity to offer them words of encouragement and comfort and they showed us their grateful hearts for receiving so much love at such an opportune time.
There are still more families to reach and every day we continue to receive requests for help from families in need, be part of this movement of compassion and join us in blessing those in need.
We invite you to be part of our ministry so that together we can bring hope to our border town of Sderot.
