For over a year, Israel has been enduring a relentless war, facing attacks from radical Islamist groups and even hostile nations. During this time, many Israeli civilians have remained hostages in Gaza, while ordinary men and fathers have stepped up as IDF reservists, defending Israel’s families from the constant threat of terror.
This moment echoes the biblical story of Moses, when the army of Israel fought against the Amalekites. Moses stood on a hill, lifting his arms in intercession, and as long as his arms were raised, the people prevailed. But when his strength waned and his arms fell, the enemy gained ground. It was then that Aaron and Hur stood beside him, holding up his arms until victory was secured.
Today, we are called to be like Aaron and Hur, standing alongside those who defend our cities and lives. Our ministry has answered this call by providing essential supplies to support our reservists and help them stay strong in the face of adversity. Among the equipment we’ve sent are generators to provide stable power in critical moments, portable air conditioners to ease the extreme heat in shelters, gas stoves and cylinders for cooking in the field, and coffee kits to offer small moments of comfort amid the stress of battle.
These are not mere accessories but vital tools that strengthen the spirit and efficiency of our soldiers. Now more than ever, we must unite in this mission to uphold the arms of our defenders, providing them with the resources they need to prevail.
We invite you to join this mission, standing with our reservists and contributing to Israel’s defense during this crucial time. With your love and dedication, we can ensure that our soldiers remain strong, protecting the lives and freedom of our people.
