City of Life Ministries actively supports those in need in our city of Sderot, on the Gaza border, including widows, single mothers, immigrant families, and Holocaust survivors, among others.

The need of the Elders and Holocaust survivors is one of our priorities and as we realized that many of them lost the ability to move in their last years and need assistive devices to walk, we decided to support them by providing them with walking rollators, to do make their lives easier and happier.

Sarah

Sarah is a loving widow who always tries to have a positive attitude and move on despite everything. Despite having gone through the horrors of war in her youth and having suffered many losses that undoubtedly left unforgettable traces in his memory of her, she lives her last years calm and happy, although some recent health problems made Sarah end up needing assistance to be able to walk, after being admitted to the hospital.

Our team reached out to Sarah to give her our full support as well as give her the much needed walking rollator that makes it easy for her to keep moving. Despite Sarah’s pain, she was happy and grateful to have received our help.

Anna and Shaul

Anna and Shaul have countless anecdotes of how they faced the Nazis when they besieged Saint Petersburg and the besieged local population was subjected to an intense struggle for survival. Thousands of families died of cold and hunger in their homes and the lack of food led the population to feed on pigeons, cats and rats. These terrible experiences marked their lives forever.
However, they managed to survive and today this wonderful couple takes our care and help knowing that they will survive the current crisis just as they did in the past.

When Anna let us know that her husband Shaul was having difficulty walking and was in need of an assistive device to walk, our team contacted her and provided her with a new walking rollator so that Shaul can continue to have a life as close to normal as possible.

They were both relieved by our donation and expressed gratitude for taking care of them.

We invite you to be part of our ministry so that together we can bring hope to our border town of Sderot.

Our work would not be possible without the help of partners like you, that is why we ask you to consider in prayer the possibility of a monthly commitment that will allow us to continue with the Lord’s work here in Israel.

Sincerely yours
