Unfortunately the modern world we live in is not entirely adapted for certain minorities of people with special needs and the disabled. Such is the case of deaf-mute people, who often struggle to face society and feel despised and ignored.
In our “City Of Life” ministry we have a special calling to help the poor, needy and neglected in our region and that is why when God graciously opened the doors for us and an opportunity arose to open a new group of meetings for the deaf mute, we did not doubt it and we joyfully accepted the challenge knowing that the Lord is supporting us in all this new project to reach the life of this sector of the population that has experienced so much suffering.
And that was how the first deaf-mute meeting took place in our congregation, where a group of happy deaf mute people, some of them non-believers, enjoyed a special meeting full of teaching, encouragement, understanding and above all the Holy Spirit. , all in an integrated environment, in sign language.
After the meeting we were able to share a special meal together and see the joy in the hearts of the people who expressed their gratitude for being part of this type of exclusive meetings in sign language.
Knowing that God’s plans are perfect, we will continue to let Him mark our course and direction in our projects. Thank you for being part of our ministry and continuing to support this and our other projects.
