As part of our home remodeling project for families in need where we hire professional builders to do vital home repairs for those who cannot afford such a repair, we have been working on Judith and Yossi’s home.
When our “City Of Life” ministry team visited Judith and Yossi’s home they were very distressed by the conditions in which this lovely couple of Holocaust survivors from our city Sderot lived.
Their house belonging to the council’s public housing program was in a terrible state of neglect and consumed by humidity, this being dangerous to their lives.
The amount of necessary repairs in Judith and Yossi’s house had a very high cost, which they were in no condition to bear.
For this reason we decided to support this elderly couple who survived the holocaust who have no one to help them and depend on our ministry.
Our team of professionals went to work with great love and commitment, knowing that long days of hard work awaited them, walls and ceiling were renovated.
This has been by far the house that has needed the most repairs both inside and outside, but the effort was worth it.
After several days of repairs, the house has undergone a complete change, to which Judith and Yossi have been filled with joy.
“It really is incredible how our home looks now” they told us, full of enthusiasm for their new life.
