October 7th marked a turning point for the families of Sderot and the surrounding border communities. After the devastating attack by Hamas, these families have faced loss, prolonged displacement, and deep trauma. Now that many are returning to their homes, they are confronted with a harsh reality: rebuilding their lives amid the winter chill and an ongoing war.
The cold temperatures add another burden to their struggle. Many homes in Sderot and surrounding communities lack proper insulation or heating systems, leaving families exposed to the biting cold. This is especially critical for those already coping with the emotional and financial impacts of recent events.
In response to this urgent need, we are launching a campaign to provide radiator heaters to the most affected families. Our goal is to ensure that every home has a source of warmth, offering not only physical comfort but also a message of care and solidarity.
Now more than ever, these families need to know they are not alone. Your support will be key in helping them face the winter, regain a sense of safety, and move toward a hopeful future.
This winter, we aim to assist at least 100 vulnerable families. With your help, we can expand our reach and provide heaters to more homes. A donation of US$100 will cover the cost of one radiator heater for a family in need. Join us! Together, we can make a difference!
