Summer Project
With the arrival of summer, Israel is facing the consequences of climate change and families' concerns over the increasing costs of electricity. The rise in global temperatures has led to an increased demand for air conditioning, which can be challenging to sustain due to the high electricity prices currently in place. In light of this situation, the Ministry of "City of Life" has taken the initiative to distribute fans as a more affordable alternative for families in the city of Sderot and its surrounding areas as they represent a more accessible solution to alleviate the heat in homes.

During the summer months in Israel, temperatures can reach extremely high levels, which increases the need for cooling systems in homes, such as air conditioning. However, the cost of running air conditioning for extended periods of time has become a concern for many families, especially those with limited resources.
The increase in electricity prices has made it challenging for some families to afford the expenses associated with prolonged air conditioning use, posing a challenge in terms of comfort and well-being as maintaining an appropriate temperature in homes becomes increasingly costly.
In response to this issue, our Ministry, "City of Life," is organizing the upcoming distribution of fans to provide relief to vulnerable families. This presents a more accessible and economical alternative to air conditioning in terms of energy consumption. Fans can provide a refreshing breeze that can help alleviate the heat in homes, especially during the nights.
Join us in our mission to bless at least 50 families in need in Sderot and the surrounding border region this summer through our fan distribution. The approximate cost will be $55 for each fan.
