In the streets of Sderot, on the frontlines near the Gaza border, lives a group of individuals who refuse to surrender to fear. They are the Emergency Squads, a team of civilians who, despite not being professional soldiers, stand ready to defend their communities with courage and determination.
After the horrific events of October 7, when Hamas terrorists launched a devastating attack, the mission of these squads has become more critical than ever. These individuals maintain constant vigilance over the city’s entrances and exits, organizing and preparing for any potential future threats. They are also alert to what happens within the city, ensuring the safety of residents from all possible angles. They do this not because they are obligated, but because they are simply members of their community, parents, neighbors, and friends deeply concerned for the safety of their town. They choose to dedicate their time and efforts to contribute to the security of Sderot’s society as a whole.
These heroes do not seek recognition or glory. When a terrorist infiltration or an unexpected attack occurs, they are the first to respond, putting their lives on the line to protect their families and neighbors until Israeli security forces arrive.
Our ministry, City of Life, has launched a special project to support these brave individuals. To maintain the checkpoints at the entrances of Sderot and prepare them for the cold and rainy winter, we are delivering essential supplies: tents, professional generators, pillar gas heaters, and flashlights. These resources will improve their response capabilities and help them continue fulfilling their voluntary duties.

Unfortunately, this is still not enough. Many squad members lack necessary equipment like ceramic body vests, helmets, tactical boots, uniforms, and more to be fully prepared for any emergency. We hope to return with more assistance to show them our gratitude and support.
In Sderot, the threats don’t stop, but neither does the courage and determination of its people. This is the time to come together and make a real difference.

Your support is crucial to keep moving forward. Be involved in bringing peace to Israel, the Promised Land, during these prophetic days.
Join us in ensuring that those on the front lines have the tools they need to protect their families and our entire community.
You can be part of and impact the lives of more people who need help in our city and together show them the way, the truth and the life.
We invite you to be part of our ministry so that together we can bring hope to our border town of Sderot.
Our work would not be possible without the help of partners like you, so we ask you to consider in prayer the possibility of a monthly commitment that will allow us to continue with the Lord’s work here in Israel.

Sincerely yours
