After new elections in Israel, where a political crisis has broken out in recent years, we Israelis are excited to see what the country will bring in this new stage that we will begin very soon and if we can overcome the most immediate problems that concern the country.
Our ministry “City Of Life” has spent years carrying out social aid work for the neediest in our city Sderot, Netivot and the border area with Gaza, seeing how the fragile security situation deteriorates more and more due to the conflict with the Islamic terrorist organization Hamas and its armed groups such as the “Islamic Jihad” that from Gaza plague the civilian population of Israel by firing rockets and perpetuating terrorist attacks, intensifying their attacks in each of the many wars unleashed in recent years.
As a consequence, the economy of the entire region is seriously affected, leaving many families homeless due to the lack of employment and few opportunities to get ahead, among which are elderly survivors of the holocaust, new immigrants, single mothers and young couples with children between them. those most affected, who see the crisis increasing in size since, added to terrorism, other factors such as the COVID pandemic and the current energy crisis have raised the cost of living to unimaginable levels.
The political instability in Israel has not helped the situation at all and with a newly elected government about to begin its term many people wonder if this crisis can be dealt with.
Just a few days ago during the celebration of the most important festivities of the Jewish people such as Rosh Hashana, Purim and Sukkot, our “City Of Life” team, in response, organized a large food distribution and gift set destined for those families more in need in an attempt to bring them relief and restore their hope in the face of the difficult misfortune they face.
Hundreds of families came to our center to receive the sacks of food that our team lovingly distributed to them while we began deep conversations with them, offering them words of encouragement and encouragement.

Along with this, our team also toured the city of Sderot and the nearby Netivot, distributing food at home to those people who for different reasons could not come to our center, thus ensuring that we bless the greatest possible number of needy families in the region and bringing joy to your hearts this festive season.
Also, and with the same purpose, hundreds of supermarket vouchers were handed out, which made the families happy knowing that they would not go hungry during the festivities and expressed their gratitude for being able to count on our help at the most critical moment.

What awaits the new government?
The great political instability experienced in recent years with 5 electoral rounds in less than 4 years makes it clear that the country is facing a difficult time, and the new incoming government will have to take charge of the issues that most concern Israelis: well-being, safety and economy.
According to the news portal “Ynet” of the Israeli newspaper “Yediot Ahronoth” the challenges that await the emerging government range from maintaining good relations with the White House where a Democratic president sits, going through a wave of terrorism that is still in full swing. height to the socio-economic crisis that requires immediate solutions.
The turmoil in the global economy and rising prices in Israel will force the next government to address the economic sector as a top priority as more than one in ten Israelis are estimated to be food insecure today.
In addition, it will be necessary to formulate a comprehensive plan in the field of housing since the increase in prices by 19% per year caused one of the most serious crises in the country’s history.
In this context, National Insurance benefits, with an emphasis on pensions for retirees, have not increased significantly for many years and as prices rise, the ability to live with dignity of entire populations, including the elderly, the disabled and the single-parent families subsisting on National Insurance benefits, which do not correspond to market prices, becomes an impossible task.
It’s Time To Act!
There are still more families to reach and every day we continue to receive requests for help from families in need, be part of this movement of compassion and join us in blessing those in need.
Our City Of Life Community Outreach ministry actively supports a large number of families in our city Sderot and the Gaza border region by providing help and meeting their needs in different areas.
From food baskets to counseling and psychological guidance, our team is always close by bringing relief and comfort and making sure that they and their children lack nothing.
You too can bless them and be part of this commitment of obedience to the Lord together with us by joining in our goal as there are still many families to reach with the help and together we can achieve it.
Our role as the body of the Messiah is to bring hope to this lost world and illuminate in times of darkness creating an impact on society, so our ministry is committed to reaching as many people as possible who suffer, and many of them depend on our commitment and dedication for the work of the Lord.
You can be part of and impact the lives of more people who need help in our city and together show them the way, the truth, and the life.
We invite you to be part of our ministry so that together we can bring hope to our border town of Sderot.
Our work would not be possible without the help of partners like you, so we ask you to consider in prayer the possibility of a monthly commitment that will allow us to continue with the Lord’s work here in Israel.

Sincerely yours
Pastors
