We are organizing a wonderful Children Recovery Day, a special trip to take dozens of children from our city to a water park where they can disconnect from the pain, relax, play and feel at peace again, surrounded by warmth, kindness and safety, knowing there are people who love them and who are thinking about them even from far away.
After the recent war with Iran, thousands of children in Sderot are still living under the heavy emotional burden of sirens going off at any moment, rockets falling without warning, and the constant fear that tomorrow they might not be able to go outside and play without running for shelter.
We know that trauma doesn’t disappear overnight, but we also know that love can open a door to hope, and that’s why at City of Life we want to give these children a different kind of day, one filled with joy, water, sunshine, laughter and care, a day they will carry in their hearts as a bright memory in the middle of so much darkness.

The children of Sderot were born and raised under the sound of alarms and explosions, and for many of them, fear is not an occasional feeling, it’s part of their daily life and with every new conflict, the emotional toll becomes heavier, the anxiety deeper, and the sense of safety more distant. The recent war affected the entire nation, with missiles flying over cities across Israel, people running for cover, schools shutting down, daily life brought to a halt, and a deep psychological wound opening in our society.
