Something significant took place in Jerusalem, at the heart of Israel’s governing institution, the Knesset. Christian leaders from different nations gathered together with Israeli officials, members of parliament, and public representatives in a setting marked by prayer, public witness, and a clear declaration of unity.
The gathering reflected a biblical vision of reconciliation and the “one new man” described in Ephesians 2:15–16, where divisions were confronted and a call for alignment was expressed.
At a time when public support for Israel has increasingly become controversial, and where narratives shaped by misinformation, political pressure, and rising antisemitism continue to influence global opinion, standing in solidarity has become a defining line. Even within parts of the Church, voices have been divided or silenced.
Those who attended chose to step forward rather than retreat, convinced that remaining anchored in Judeo-Christian foundations is essential for truth and for the moral stability of modern democratic societies.
Scripture is not ambiguous about God’s position concerning Israel and Jerusalem. From the unconditional declaration in Genesis 12:3 to the direct command to pray for Jerusalem’s peace in Psalm 122:6, the biblical narrative consistently places Israel at the center of God’s unfolding purposes.
What was revealed went beyond public discourse or political positioning; it brought conviction into focus, exposed where alignment truly stood, and clarified what voices were willing to stand.
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem.
